Description

Quick and hearty beef bowls with a delicious honey Sriracha sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup sliced bell peppers
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  2. Stir in the minced garlic and let it cook for about 1 minute, or until fragrant.
  3. Add the honey, Sriracha sauce, and soy sauce to the skillet. Stir well to combine all the ingredients and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  4. In a separate pot, bring water to a boil and steam the broccoli florets and sliced bell peppers until tender, about 4-5 minutes.
  5. To serve, place a generous scoop of the beef mixture over cooked rice. Top with the steamed vegetables.
  6. Finish by garnishing with sliced green onions.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. This beef mixture can be frozen for up to 3 months.
