Description

A comforting and flavorful baked lemon herb chicken dish, perfect for family dinners or impressing friends.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 lemons (juice and zest)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme (chopped)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine olive oil, lemon juice, zest, garlic, rosemary, thyme, and salt and pepper in a bowl to make the marinade.
  3. Place the chicken breasts into a baking dish and coat them with the marinade.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until fully cooked and no longer pink in the center.
  5. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Chicken can be substituted with thighs for a richer flavor. Be sure to let the chicken rest before serving for juiciness.
