Description

A delightful dish featuring tender halibut fillets topped with a crispy Parmesan crust, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 halibut fillets
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lemon (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Pat the halibut fillets dry with a paper towel and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the halibut fillets, spreading it evenly.
  5. Press the Parmesan mixture firmly onto each fillet until well-coated.
  6. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until the halibut is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Serve warm with wedges of lemon for squeezing over the top.

Notes

For best results, do not overcook the halibut, and ensure the breadcrumb mixture is well-seasoned.
