- 1 cup whole milk
- ½ cup heavy whipping cream
- ⅔ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ⅓ cup chopped crisp bacon
- ¼ cup sliced green onions
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and grease your pie dish.
- In a large bowl, combine the thawed shredded hash browns with optional cheddar, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and melted butter until well combined.
- Press the hash brown mixture into the greased pie dish, creating an even layer for the crust.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, whole milk, and heavy cream until smooth. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, cooked bacon, green onions, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Once the crust is ready, pour the egg mixture evenly over the crust and return to the oven. Bake for an additional 25-30 minutes, or until the quiche is set and lightly golden on top.
- Let the quiche cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!
