Instructions
- Prepare the broth by combining chicken, broth, carrots, celery, onion, and pepper; boil then simmer.
- Shred the chicken after cooking and return to the pot.
- Make the dumpling dough by mixing flour, baking powder, salt, and butter; add milk.
- Cook dumplings by dropping dough into simmering broth; cover and cook for 15-20 minutes.
- Final touches: taste and adjust seasonings in the broth.
