Instructions

- Cream together the sugar and softened butter in a large bowl until light and fluffy.

- Drop rounded tablespoons of the dough onto ungreased cookie sheets, leaving space between each.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges turn lightly golden.
- Cool the cookies on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
