Description

A heartwarming meal featuring salmon fillets and asparagus in a rich creamy garlic butter sauce, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the salmon fillets, season with salt and pepper, and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden and thoroughly cooked. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add the asparagus. Cook for 3-4 minutes, tossing occasionally until bright green and slightly tender. Remove from skillet and set aside alongside the salmon.
  3. In the skillet, melt the remaining butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and Dijon mustard, stirring well. Allow the mixture to simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Return the salmon and asparagus to the skillet, gently coating them in the sauce.
  6. Sprinkle fresh parsley on top before serving warm. Enjoy!

Notes

For best results, avoid overcooking the salmon and asparagus. Fresh salmon gives the best flavor and texture.
