Description

A creamy and comforting mushroom chicken skillet perfect for family dinners or cozy evenings.


Ingredients

  • 4 Chicken breasts
  • 8 oz Mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 Onion, diced
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat the skillet with olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Cook until golden brown, about 6-7 minutes each side, then remove from skillet.
  3. Sauté onions and garlic in the same skillet until translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until browned.
  5. Deglaze the skillet with chicken broth, scraping any bits off the bottom.
  6. Incorporate the heavy cream and reduce the heat to simmer.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until cooked through.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
