- 4 Chicken breasts
- 8 oz Mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 Onion, diced
- 1 cup Chicken broth
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Heat the skillet with olive oil over medium heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Cook until golden brown, about 6-7 minutes each side, then remove from skillet.
- Sauté onions and garlic in the same skillet until translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add sliced mushrooms and cook until browned.
- Deglaze the skillet with chicken broth, scraping any bits off the bottom.
- Incorporate the heavy cream and reduce the heat to simmer.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until cooked through.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
