Description

A comforting and creamy dish featuring chicken breasts, fresh spinach, and mushrooms in a luscious heavy cream sauce, topped with Parmesan cheese.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese for topping

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook them for about 6-7 minutes on each side, until they are fully cooked and golden brown. Once done, remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sliced mushrooms to the same skillet. Sauté these ingredients for about 4 minutes, or until the mushrooms soften and develop a nice color.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and stir well to mix with the mushrooms and garlic. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer and watch as it thickens slightly.
  4. Stir in the fresh spinach and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the spinach has wilted.
  5. Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet and gently coat them in the creamy sauce. Allow it to simmer for another minute.
  6. Serve the dish hot, generously topped with Parmesan cheese.
