Description

Crispy and creamy cottage cheese tots, perfect for snacks or as a side dish.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup shredded potatoes
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese, shredded potatoes, salt, and pepper. Mix well with a fork or spatula until evenly distributed.
  2. With clean hands, take a small amount of the mixture and form it into small tots or patties.
  3. In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat until shimmering. Test if it’s hot enough by dropping a small amount of the mixture into the oil; it should sizzle.
  4. Carefully place the formed tots into the hot oil and fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Once cooked, use a slotted spoon to remove the tots from the skillet and let them drain on paper towels. Serve warm.
