Description
Savor the rich flavors of ribeye steaks combined with crispy French fries, enhanced by garlic and Parmesan.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 ribeye steaks
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 pound frozen French fries
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to the temperature recommended on the package of frozen French fries. Once preheated, spread the fries on a baking sheet and place them in the oven. Cook according to package instructions until golden and crispy, usually around 20 minutes.
- Season your ribeye steaks and season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
- Sauté the minced garlic in the hot oil for about 30 seconds, stirring frequently.
- Sear the seasoned ribeye steaks in the skillet for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, spooning the garlic oil over them.
- Let the steaks rest for about 5 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute before slicing.
- Toss the fries with grated Parmesan cheese in a large bowl after removing them from the oven.
- Serve the rested ribeye steaks on plates alongside the garlic Parmesan fries, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.
Notes
Use grass-fed ribeye for more flavor. Be careful not to overcook the steaks.
