Description

A deliciously tender leg of lamb roasted with a flavorful herb crust, perfect for family gatherings and special occasions.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 leg of lamb
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Create the herb mixture by mixing olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, chopped thyme, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  3. Rub the herb mixture generously all over the leg of lamb.
  4. Press the breadcrumbs onto the herb-covered lamb.
  5. Place the lamb in a roasting pan and roast for about 1 to 1.5 hours, until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) for medium-rare.
  6. Rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For added flavor, consider mixing in crushed red pepper flakes or a hint of mustard in the herb mixture.
