- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (for sauce)
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic (for sauce)
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped green onions, egg, soy sauce, minced garlic, and black pepper in a large bowl. Mix until everything is well combined.
- Roll the mixture into small meatballs, about 1-inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until fully cooked through and browned on the outside.
- Prepare the sauce by combining honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, rice vinegar, and sesame oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until hot and well combined.
- Coat the baked meatballs with the sauce by gently stirring in the saucepan.
- Finish cooking the meatballs in the sauce for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
