Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (for sauce)
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic (for sauce)
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped green onions, egg, soy sauce, minced garlic, and black pepper in a large bowl. Mix until everything is well combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into small meatballs, about 1-inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until fully cooked through and browned on the outside.
  5. Prepare the sauce by combining honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, rice vinegar, and sesame oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until hot and well combined.
  6. Coat the baked meatballs with the sauce by gently stirring in the saucepan.
  7. Finish cooking the meatballs in the sauce for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!
