- 3 ripe bananas, sliced
- 2 cups strawberries, sliced
- 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups cold whole milk
- 1 box (12 oz) vanilla wafers
- 2 cups whipped cream or whipped topping
Instructions
- Whisk instant vanilla pudding mix with cold milk until thick and refrigerate for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Slice the bananas into coins and the strawberries into slices; pat the strawberries dry.
- In a dish, layer the vanilla wafers at the bottom without crushing them.
- Spoon on a layer of pudding, spreading gently.
- Distribute banana and strawberry slices over the pudding. Reserve some fruit for topping.
- Repeat the layering process until ingredients are used up, finishing with pudding and topping with whipped cream.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
Notes
Use real cold whole milk for best results. Line the sides of your dish with berries for a pretty presentation. The dessert tastes better the next day.
