Description

Delicious shrimp tacos topped with a crunchy slaw and fresh avocado, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 1/2 cup carrots, grated
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 avocado, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the seasoned shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through. Remove from heat.
  3. In another bowl, combine cabbage, carrots, cilantro, and lime juice; mix to coat the vegetables.
  4. Warm the tortillas in a skillet or microwave for about 30 seconds on each side.
  5. Assemble by placing shrimp on each tortilla, topping with slaw, and adding avocado slices.
  6. Serve immediately while fresh and warm.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add jalapeños to the slaw or hot sauce to the shrimp mixture.
