- Waffle cones or sugar cones
- White chocolate chips or almond bark, about 1 cup
- 1 teaspoon neutral oil or coconut oil, optional
- Red, white, and blue sprinkles
- Fresh berries: strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries
- Optional fillers: small cubes of angel food cake or mini marshmallows
- Optional creamy element: lightly sweetened whipped cream or vanilla yogurt
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon honey
Instructions
- Prep fruit: rinse gently, dry very well, and hull or cut strawberries into bite-size pieces. Toss berries with lemon juice and honey if using.
- Melt white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second bursts, stirring until smooth. Add oil if necessary for smoother dipping.
- Dip each cone rim in melted chocolate, then in sprinkles. Set upright in a muffin tin or lay on parchment until set.
- For extra crunch, brush melted chocolate inside the cone and allow it to firm up.
- When serving, add mini marshmallows or cake cubes to the bottom, layer in berries, then top with whipped cream or yogurt if using. Finish with extra sprinkles and a blueberry.
Notes
For best results, melt chocolate low and slow, dry fruit thoroughly, and keep cones upright while setting. Chill dipped cones on a hot day to maintain chocolate firmness.
