Description
A comforting dish of tender steak bites infused with garlic and rosemary, served over creamy Parmesan polenta.
Ingredients
- Steak bites (sirloin or tenderloin)
- Salt and pepper
- Olive oil
- Butter
- Fresh rosemary (chopped)
- Garlic (minced)
- Parmesan cheese (grated)
- Polenta
- Chicken or vegetable broth
- Heavy cream
Instructions
- Season the steak bites generously with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steak bites for about 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Add butter to the skillet with the leftover oil. Once melted, mix in rosemary and garlic and stir until fragrant, about one minute.
- Return the cooked steak bites to the skillet and toss them in the garlic butter mixture for another minute.
- In a separate pot, bring chicken or vegetable broth to a boil. Whisk in the polenta gradually, stirring continuously to prevent lumps. Cook until thickened, about 5 minutes. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until creamy.
- Spoon a portion of the creamy Parmesan polenta onto a plate and top with steak bites, drizzling any remaining garlic butter over the dish.
- Serve and enjoy with family or friends.
Notes
For optimal tenderness, allow steak to come to room temperature before cooking. Avoid overcooking for best results.
