Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 pounds pork shoulder
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 46 hamburger buns
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Season the pork shoulder with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika, ensuring even coverage.
  2. Slice the onion and place it in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Lay the seasoned pork shoulder on top of the sliced onions.
  4. Pour the barbecue sauce over the pork, fully coating it.
  5. Cover and set the slow cooker to cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-6 hours.
