- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 egg, beaten
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for brushing
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick.
- Cut the pastry into strips about 1 inch wide.
- Combine fresh spinach and crumbled feta in a bowl, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Fill each pastry strip with a spoonful of the spinach and feta mixture, fold, and twist to shape.
- Brush each twist with beaten egg and drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool slightly before serving warm.
Notes
Store leftover twists in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for best texture.
