Description

Deliciously crispy and flaky puff pastry twists filled with creamy spinach and tangy feta cheese, perfect for appetizers or snacks.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for brushing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. Cut the pastry into strips about 1 inch wide.
  4. Combine fresh spinach and crumbled feta in a bowl, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  5. Fill each pastry strip with a spoonful of the spinach and feta mixture, fold, and twist to shape.
  6. Brush each twist with beaten egg and drizzle with olive oil.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

Store leftover twists in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for best texture.
