Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1/2 cup sugar (for cinnamon mixture)

Instructions

  1. Combine Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and salt. Stir until smooth.
  2. Add Flour and Yeast: Stir in 2 cups of flour and yeast until well combined.
  3. Form the Dough: Gradually add the remaining flour until a soft dough forms.
  4. Knead the Dough: Turn out onto a floured surface and knead for 5-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. First Rise: Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
  6. Prepare the Loaves: Punch down dough, divide, roll into rectangles, and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  7. Roll and Shape: Roll tightly and place in greased loaf pans.
  8. Second Rise: Let rise again, covered, until doubled, about 30-45 minutes.
  9. Preheat Oven: Preheat to 350°F (175°C) during the last minutes of rising.
  10. Bake the Bread: Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and hollow-sounding when tapped.
  11. Cool Before Serving: Allow to cool in pans for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
