Description

A comforting dish of baked beans enriched with the savory flavors of smoked turkey bacon, perfect for gatherings or cozy evenings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans of baked beans
  • 4 slices of smoked turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the smoked turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Sauté the diced onion in the same skillet until translucent, around 3-5 minutes.
  4. Combine the baked beans, crispy turkey bacon, sautéed onion, brown sugar, mustard, barbecue sauce, and salt and pepper in a large bowl.
  5. Pour the mixture into a baking dish and bake for about 30 minutes until bubbly.
