- 4 Tilapia fillets
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix the grated Parmesan cheese, Panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl.
- Arrange the tilapia fillets in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush olive oil or melted butter over the top of each tilapia fillet.
- Sprinkle the Parmesan and breadcrumb mixture evenly over each fillet and press down lightly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve hot with fresh lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
For a different flavor, try using Pecorino Romano instead of Parmesan or smoked paprika for the seasoning.
