- 6–8 ripe tomatoes, sliced
- 1 pre-baked pie crust
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the pre-baked pie crust on a baking sheet.
- Slice the tomatoes and layer them in the bottom of the prepared pie crust.
- Combine mayonnaise, shredded cheddar cheese, green onions, salt, black pepper, and basil in a bowl. Mix well.
- Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the tomatoes.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the top is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let the pie cool for a few minutes before slicing.
Notes
Chill for a few minutes after baking for easier slicing. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
