Description

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled and diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease a baking sheet.
  2. Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Cut in the chilled butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream and vanilla extract gently.
  5. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently. Pat into a round and cut out biscuits.
  6. Bake the biscuits for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
