- 1 cup carrots, grated
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sugar

Instructions
- Combine the shredded cabbage and grated carrots in a large bowl.
- Whisk together the buttermilk, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, and celery seed in a separate bowl.
- Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrots, tossing until well coated.
- Season the slaw with salt and pepper to taste.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise. Letting the coleslaw sit enhances its flavor.
