Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 chocolate tart crust
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • White icing or melted white chocolate (for web decoration)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the crust according to package instructions. Allow to cool completely.

  3. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped semi-sweet chocolate until melted and smooth.
  4. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, stirring until well combined and creamy.
  5. Pour the filling into the cooled tart crust and spread evenly. Chill in the refrigerator for about two hours to set.
  6. Decorate the top with white icing or melted chocolate in a spider web design.
  7. Add plastic spiders for decoration and serve chilled.
