Instructions
- Slice the onions into rings, keeping the width consistent.
- Soak the sliced onion rings in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
- Prepare the coating by combining flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Bread each soaked onion ring in the flour mixture, dip into buttermilk, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Air fry the rings after lightly spraying them with cooking spray, ensuring they are in a single layer.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Serve the onion rings hot and enjoy!
