- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp hot sauce (optional)
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
- Lime wedges for serving
Instructions
- Prepare the flour mixture by combining flour, paprika, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl.
- Coat each fish fillet in the flour mixture, then transfer to breadcrumbs and press to adhere.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat, about 1/4 inch deep.
- Fry each fish fillet for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy; drain on paper towels.
- Make the slaw by combining shredded cabbage, mayonnaise, lime juice, and optional hot sauce in a bowl.
- Warm the tortillas and assemble the tacos with fish, slaw, and garnish with cilantro.
