Description

These crispy baked fries are a comforting side dish, featuring rich flavors from Parmesan and truffle oil.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons truffle oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Wash the russet potatoes thoroughly to remove any dirt.
  3. Cut them into thin fry shapes, ensuring uniform sizing for even cooking.
  4. Toss the cut fries with olive oil, truffle oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  5. Spread the seasoned fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
  7. Add Parmesan cheese five minutes before they are done baking, then return to the oven.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider fresh herbs or different cheese substitutes.
