Instructions
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of cake mix with 1/4 cup of softened butter, 1/4 cup of brown sugar, and 1/4 cup of granulated sugar. Use a hand mixer or spoon to better blend the mixture, making sure there are no lumps.
- Add Liquid Ingredients: Using the same bowl, add 1/4 cup of milk and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy. Make sure everything is well incorporated for the best flavor.
- Fold in Chocolate Chips: Once the mixture is smooth, gently fold in 1/2 cup of chocolate chips. Be careful not to over-mix, or the chocolate chips may break apart.
- Serve or Refrigerate: You can enjoy the cookie dough immediately, or if you prefer a cooler treat, place it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving.
