Description

A delightful grilled halibut paired with a refreshing mango salsa, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 halibut fillets
  • 1 ripe mango, diced
  • 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for grilling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Prepare the mango salsa by combining diced mango, red onion, red bell pepper, lime juice, cilantro, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  3. Brush both sides of the halibut fillets with olive oil and generously season with salt and pepper.
  4. Grill the halibut fillets for about 4-5 minutes per side until opaque and flaky.
  5. Serve the grilled halibut topped with the prepared mango salsa.

Notes

Ensure not to overcook the fish, as it can become dry. Prepare the salsa ahead of time to let flavors meld.
