- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Lettuce, tomato, and other toppings of choice
Instructions
- Prepare the Turkey Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Use your hands to mix until just combined and shape into patties.
- Grill or Pan-Fry the Patties: Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook the turkey patties for about 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through.
- Caramelize the Onions: In another pan, add olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced onions and stir occasionally until soft and browned, about 10-15 minutes.
- Toast the Buns: About 5 minutes before patties are done, toast the hamburger buns until lightly golden.
- Assemble the Burgers: Start with a toasted bun, place the turkey patty, layer on caramelized onions, and add additional toppings like lettuce and tomato.
- Serve and Enjoy: Serve the burgers warm with your favorite sides.
