Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream together softened butter and granulated sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy (about 3-5 minutes).
- Add vanilla extract, almond extract, and egg yolk to the mixture, mixing well until smooth.
- Incorporate the milk into the mixture.
- Gradually add flour, stirring gently until a smooth dough forms.
- Fold in chocolate chips and sprinkles (if using).
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto lined baking sheets, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden and centers remain soft.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
