- 1 cup sugar

- 1 cup milk

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

- Vanilla ice cream for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Combine the sliced peaches with 1/2 cup of sugar and let sit for 10-15 minutes.
- Mix the remaining sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl until well combined.
- Add milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish.
- Spread the peach mixture over the batter without stirring.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown on top.
- Serve warm topped with vanilla ice cream.
