Description

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven and Prep Pan: Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease the donut pan lightly.
  2. Reduce the Apple Cider: In a medium saucepan, bring 1 cup of apple cider to a boil, then simmer for 15-20 minutes until reduced to about 1/4 cup. Cool.
  3. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  4. Combine Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, mix granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir in the cooled apple cider.
  5. Combine Wet and Dry Mixes: Gently fold wet ingredients into dry ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fill Pan and Bake: Fill each cavity of the donut pan 2/3 full with batter. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until donuts spring back when touched.
  7. Cool and Serve: Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
