  • 8 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 loaf of bread (cubed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
  2. Cook the turkey sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned, then drain any excess fat.
  3. Whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and dried parsley in a large bowl.
  4. Layer the cubed bread, cooked sausage, bell peppers, and onions in the greased casserole dish.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the layered ingredients and sprinkle cheese on top.
  6. Refrigerate covered for at least 1 hour, or overnight if desired.
  7. Bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes until set and golden on top.
  8. Cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
