Description

Delicious sticky buns combining sweet maple syrup with savory turkey bacon and crunchy pecans, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease your baking dish.
  2. Mix together the all-purpose flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Cut in the cold, cubed butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Pour in the milk and stir gently until combined, taking care not to over-mix.
  5. Fold in the crumbled turkey bacon and chopped pecans.
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, brush with melted butter, and drizzle with maple syrup.
  7. Cut the dough into strips and roll each strip up tightly, placing them seam-side down in the prepared baking dish.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown, then let cool slightly before serving.
