- 4 cod fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Drizzle 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a baking dish.
- Place the cod fillets into the baking dish.
- Sprinkle minced garlic over the cod, followed by oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Lay thin slices of lemon on top of the fillets.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes until the cod flakes easily with a fork.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Adjust seasoning according to taste and make sure not to overcook the fish.
