Description

A delightful and easy-to-prepare Mediterranean dish featuring tender cod fillets baked with lemon and garlic.


Ingredients

  • 4 cod fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Drizzle 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a baking dish.
  3. Place the cod fillets into the baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle minced garlic over the cod, followed by oregano, salt, and pepper.
  5. Lay thin slices of lemon on top of the fillets.
  6. Bake for about 15-20 minutes until the cod flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
