- 2 cups pretzel sticks
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup whipped topping
- 1 package (6 oz) strawberry gelatin mix
- 2 cups sliced strawberries
- 1 cup boiling water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F if you are baking the pretzels to crisp them up. Crush the pretzel sticks into small pieces.
- Mix the crushed pretzel pieces with melted butter and granulated sugar in a large bowl. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch pan to form a crust.
- Bake the pretzel crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, then remove and allow to cool completely.
- Beat together softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping until combined.
- Dissolve the strawberry gelatin mix in boiling water and stir until fully dissolved. Add in the sliced strawberries and let cool slightly.
- Pour the strawberry mixture over the cream cheese layer in the pan and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
- Slice into bars and serve chilled.
Notes
Make ahead of time and store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Can be frozen for up to 3 months.
