Description

A crisp and tangy mocktail perfect for hot summer days, utilizing fresh cucumbers and limes for a refreshing experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 small cucumber (or half of a large one)
  • 2 limes (one for juice, one for wedges)
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons honey or simple syrup (optional)
  • Sparking water (plain or flavored)
  • Ice
  • Pinch of salt (optional)
  • Fresh mint (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash your cucumber and cut off the ends. Slice a few thin rounds for garnish if you want. Then roughly chop the rest.
  2. In a glass or a small bowl, muddle or mash the chopped cucumber with lime juice.
  3. Stir in your honey or simple syrup if using. Add a tiny pinch of salt if desired.
  4. Fill your glass with ice. Strain the cucumber lime mix into the glass if you do not want bits.
  5. Top with sparkling water and give it a gentle stir. Add mint and cucumber slices, then taste.

Notes

The mocktail tastes best right after it’s made. For a smoother drink, blend the cucumber with lime juice and strain.
