Description

A comforting tart featuring layers of creamy cheeses and fresh heirloom tomatoes, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 2 cups heirloom tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for drizzling
  • Balsamic glaze for drizzling (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out your pre-made pie crust and press it into a tart pan.
  2. Mix the ricotta cheese, shredded mozzarella, minced garlic, chopped basil, salt, and pepper until combined.
  3. Spread the cheese filling evenly over the pie crust.
  4. Arrange the sliced heirloom tomatoes on top of the cheese filling.
  5. Drizzle olive oil over the tomatoes.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  7. Let cool for about 10 minutes before drizzling with balsamic glaze, if using.
