- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 2 cups heirloom tomatoes, sliced
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for drizzling
- Balsamic glaze for drizzling (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out your pre-made pie crust and press it into a tart pan.
- Mix the ricotta cheese, shredded mozzarella, minced garlic, chopped basil, salt, and pepper until combined.
- Spread the cheese filling evenly over the pie crust.
- Arrange the sliced heirloom tomatoes on top of the cheese filling.
- Drizzle olive oil over the tomatoes.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
- Let cool for about 10 minutes before drizzling with balsamic glaze, if using.
