Description

A quick and vibrant dish combining juicy shrimp with rich garlic butter and a hint of heat from red pepper flakes, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Sauté garlic and red pepper flakes for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes without stirring.
  4. Flip the shrimp and cook for another 2-3 minutes until fully pink and opaque.
  5. Stir in lemon juice and cook for an additional minute.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Be careful not to overcook the shrimp, as they can become tough. Adjust the heat to taste with red pepper flakes.
