Description

A comforting and flavorful cube steak dish slow-cooked with vegetables and creamy mushroom soup, perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs cube steak
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cups mushroom soup
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Season the steak with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Prepare the sliced onion and bell pepper by placing them in the bottom of the crock pot.
  3. Layer the seasoned cube steak on top of the vegetables.
  4. Mix together the mushroom soup, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl.
  5. Combine the mixture and pour it over the steak, covering it well.
  6. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours until the steak is tender.
  7. Serve hot alongside rice or mashed potatoes.
