Ingredients

- 4 black tea bags
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 ripe peaches, sliced
- 1 cup additional water (for peach syrup)
- Ice
Instructions
- Simmer the sliced peaches in 1 cup of water, bringing to a boil and then simmering for about 10 minutes.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to collect the peach syrup.
- Brew the black tea by boiling 4 cups of water, adding tea bags, and steeping for 5 minutes.
- Sweeten the tea by removing tea bags and stirring in the sugar until dissolved.
- Combine the cooled tea with the peach syrup and an additional cup of water, stirring well.
- Serve over ice and garnish with extra peach slices if desired.
Notes
Avoid overcooking the peaches and steeping the tea too long for the best flavor.
