Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken by combining the flour, salt, black pepper, and paprika in a bowl. Dredge the chicken thighs in the flour mixture.
  2. Brown the chicken in a skillet with heated vegetable oil for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Sauté the sliced onion in the same skillet until softened and translucent, about 5 minutes.
  5. Add the minced garlic and dried thyme, cooking until fragrant.
  6. Create the gravy by pouring in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
  7. Simmer the chicken thighs in the gravy for about 30 minutes or until fully cooked through.
