Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Combine the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, crushed Earl Grey tea, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Mix the dry ingredients into the butter and sugar blend until just combined.
- Incorporate the vanilla extract, shape the dough into a log, wrap it in plastic, and chill for 30 minutes.
- Slice the chilled dough into 1/4 inch thick cookies and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Cool on a wire rack before serving.
