- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet of Italian dressing mix
- 1 cup of cream cheese
- 1 cup of chicken broth
- 1 cup of sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup of sun-dried tomatoes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken by placing it at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Add the Italian dressing mix over the chicken.
- Mix the cream cheese with the chicken broth until smooth.
- Combine the cream cheese mixture with the chicken in the slow cooker.
- Add the sliced mushrooms and sun-dried tomatoes if using.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Shred the chicken in the sauce and serve over pasta or rice, garnished with parsley.
