Description

A refreshing and fruity mocktail that combines strawberries and lemon juice, perfect for hot summer days.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1/4 to 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 to 3 tablespoons sweetener (honey, simple syrup, agave, or sugar)
  • 1 to 2 cups ice
  • Optional: splash of club soda or sparkling water

Instructions

  1. Add frozen strawberries, lemon juice, cold water, sweetener, and 1 cup of ice to the blender.
  2. Blend for 30 to 60 seconds, then check the texture.
  3. If it is too thick to blend, add a small splash of water and blend again.
  4. If it is too thin, add more ice or a few more frozen strawberries.
  5. Taste it. Add a pinch more sweetener if it is too tart, or a squeeze more lemon if it tastes flat.
  6. Pour into glasses and, if desired, top with a little sparkling water for a fizzy finish.

Notes

Use frozen strawberries for the best slush texture. Adjust sweetness and tartness to your preference.
