Description

Ingredients

  • 4 hot dog buns
  • 2 sweet onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  2. Place the beef hot dogs on the grill and cook for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally.
  3. Chop the sweet onions and heat them in a skillet.
  4. Cook the onions in the skillet until they become soft, about 5 minutes.
  5. Add the brown sugar and apple cider vinegar to the onions, cooking until thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Toast the hot dog buns on the grill for about 1 minute.
  7. Assemble by placing a hot dog in each bun, topped with sweet onion relish.
  8. Serve with mustard or additional relish if desired.
