- 2 large potatoes
- 1 lb ground beef or turkey
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 avocado, diced
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Wash the potatoes and pierce them with a fork. Rub with olive oil, salt, and pepper, then wrap in foil.
- Bake the potatoes for 45-60 minutes until tender.
- Cook the ground beef or turkey in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain off excess fat.
- Add the taco seasoning to the meat and stir according to package instructions.
- Fluff the baked potatoes and cut them open lengthwise.
- Assemble the bowls with seasoned meat, cheese, sour cream, salsa, avocado, lettuce, and tomatoes.
- Serve warm and enjoy with family!
